The Pomme lamp is made from Japanese Momigami paper, a handmade paper produced in Japan from mulberry fibres. Its crinkled texture gives it a distinctive presence and reveals the subtle nuances of the paper when the lamp is illuminated.

Ceramic base and bulb included.

Designer

Camille Vouteau

Camille Vouteau is a French designer based in Copenhagen. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, she has been working with paper as her primary material for several years.

Her lamps are made from handcrafted Japanese papers, chosen for their textures, visible fibers, and their ability to filter a soft, warm light. Each piece is dyed, cut, and sewn in her studio in Copenhagen. She pays particular attention to gesture, the rhythm of making, and the singularity of each piece.

Her work brings together graphic, playful, and poetic forms, inspired by nature and, above all, the pleasure of making.
